Mr. Trump's New Hampshire campaign manager defended his exclusion proposal by comparing it to the mass internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
Let me write that again in all caps:
HIS NEW HAMPSHIRE CAMPAIGN MANAGER DEFENDED THIS POLICY BY COMPARING IT TO THE MASS INTERMENTS OF JAPANESE-AMERICANS DURING WORLD WAR TWO.
I saw on Twitter last night a comment to the effect of, "The Democratic Party is now pretty much a big tent of everyone not actively trying to start a race war." Given that we are now back into "concentration camps were a GOOD IDEA" territory, I'm no longer convinced that's far off the mark.
