Today's Flower Picture Update

Very busy weekend; NASFiC meetings, Amy's going away party, lots of people over last night for gaming, and eating too much. Today is a make-eBay-actions day and I might walk down to the farmer's market, because mmmmmmm cherries. I got the new windowbox's seat (cherrywood) oiled on Friday - it's turning out really, really nice. But mostly, this post is for:

Thursday's token: 0.1
Friday's miles: 1.6
Miles out of Hobbiton: 276.65
Miles to Rivendell: 181.65

Your Power Color Is Indigo

At Your Highest:

You are on a fast track to success - and others believe in you.

At Your Lowest:

You require a lot of attention and praise.

In Love:

You see people as how you want them to be, not as how they are.

How You're Attractive:

You're dramatic flair makes others see you as mysterious and romantic.

Your Eternal Question:

"Does This Work Into My Future Plans?"

Re: cherries!

I had someone tell me, quite recently, that Mount Rainier cherries are terribly expensive and oh-so-much-better than our humble Michigan cherries. I disagree. Thoughts?

Re: cherries!

uh... what're Michigan cherries?

I like Rainier cherries a lot. I even like them more than Bing cherries, which is saying something. But I don't know what Michigan cherries are.

Re: cherries!

Neither do I, considering the bag I was munching on also turned out to be Mount Rainier cherries. But those I tried specifically referred to as such? They were pale, almost colored like peach-skins rather than the dark red I'm used to. Terribly different flavor I didn't enjoy as much. I like my dark red cherries, no matter from whence they come. (But yes, we have a bumper cherry crop in Michigan.)

Re: cherries!

Rainiers aren't a dark red, they're the yellow-pale red mix I think you're describing. I think they're very tasty. ^_^
